So Thibault, what is going on this year?
After taking part in the Monte-Carlo WRC rally, I took up the challenge of two championships this year. I am taking part in the Italian rally championship with Sébastien Chardonnet for Ford Racing Italia, and in the Polish championship with Bryan Bouffier, also at the wheel of a Ford. I am currently in the lead in the Polish championship, and in fourth place in Italy (having not taken part in the first rally).
You are on a team with Sébastien Chardonnet, also a BRM driver, but is he your only teammate?
No, I have been driving with Sébastien since 2009 (when I started rally driving), and this year Bryan Bouffier, another well-known French driver, contacted me to form a team with him. To start with it was just a case of doing one rally to see how it went, then we went on to have four podium finishes in as many races, with two wins. So we are going to finish the season together, including by taking part in the Tour de Corse - Rallye de France at the wheel of a WRC.
What are your results from your last five rallies? And your impressions?
The results of this first half of the season are looking very positive for the moment. With Sébastien in Italy I have had two podium finishes (second and third) and one withdrawal for engine trouble out of three rallies. With Bryan in Poland we have had three podium finishes in three races (two wins and one second place), and second place in the European Rally Championship in Ypres, Belgium. So six podium finishes since the start of the season.
You are a member of BRM's large family of drivers: anything to say on the subject?
I am indeed part of the family, and that is the right word for it, since 2012, February to be exact, which is when I met

Bernard Richards at Rétromobile. We clicked straight away, and began our shared venture.
I've loved cars ever since I was very young, and watches too, that's what brings Bernard and I together (laughs). Obviously today I am proud to wear the livery of a French watchmaker who makes exceptional timepieces for all my sporting and non-sporting activities, because it goes without saying that I am always wearing a BRM!
I hope to wear the BRM livery at the top of the podiums for as long as possible!
