From the excellence of the details is
performance born... |

Once
again this year, BRM exclusively revealed its new models at the
Baselworld international trade show. We would like to thank all
those who dropped by and are pleased to present some pictures of our
latest models:
the T12-44-GU-1B
and the T12-44-GU-2O
In February 2011, BRM revealed
its first Gulf models. Since then, no fewer than 11 limited editions
in the colours of the famous and emblematic brand have been
produced. This year, following the success of the T12-44-DRIVEMASTER
watches, BRM has decided to develop two 50-model limited editions of
the T12-44 Gulf.
The venturi shape of this watch, directly
inspired by a velocity stack, is an innovative concept in the
watch-making world. The crown-protector has been given a more
conical shape. BRM will stop at nothing, and decided to forge this
model’s titanium case in one piece as the shape could not be
machined in three dimensions on digital equipment.
This
automatic chronograph encapsulates technology that opens up entirely
new avenues for development.

For Baselworld, BRM
Chronographes will exclusively present its collection of brake disc
watches. Inspired by and designed in the image of a real brake disc,
the DDF6-44 and the DDF12-44 are machined from blocks of metal and
have titanium cases. The two stainless steel discs represent the
form of a sports car's wheel discs. The crown protector in 316 L
stainless steel represents a four-piston calliper. The result? An
incomparable timepiece in the image of the motorsports lover's brand
of choice!

and announces its partnership with DS!
|
At
the 86th Geneva Motor Show, the DS brand and French watchmaker BRM
Chronographes were proud to make their partnership public.
Technology, performance and refinement are the watchwords
for this high-end partnership which brings together two unique
brands, each one embodying French luxury and savoir-faire in their
respective fields. First fruits of the partnership: the DS 3
Performance BRM Chronographes! Available in a limited edition of 39
numbered models, the car comes with a superb BRM V6-44-SA-SQ-DS3
specially designed by the manufacture in a 39-model limited edition
for the lucky owners.
But the adventure doesn't end there! To
further improve the refined interior, which boasts stitched aged
leather seats and a guilloché aluminium central console, DS once
again called on its watchmaking partner BRM Chronographes, who
designed the Records TB, a unique watch which recalls a dashboard,
with a case at a 90° angle to allow the wearer to see the time while
driving. A veritable distillation of technology, the Records TB
breaks all the rules too. The Records TB, designed
especially for DS E-TENSE passengers, can either be worn on the
wrist, or can fit into the car's central console.

Young
Vendean driver Alexandre Cougnaud started out in karting at the age
of 10. He progressed to single-seaters in 2009 with Auto Sport
Academy, then moved on to Formula Renault 2.0 the next year before
entering Formula 3 in 2012. Alexandre immediately proved himself a
contender for the Spanish championship (the Copa), and one podium
finish followed another at nearly all his races. At the end of 2013,
he was scouted by several teams for the Porsche Scholarship and took
part in the Porsche Carrera Cup France for the following two years.
In 2015, you had your second season in the Porsche Carrera
Cup France with a first podium finish in Navarra in October, after a
few disappointments at the start of the season. What is your view of
this past year? As you say, the podium finish was
much awaited, despite consistent high finishes. The results of this
second season in the Porsche Carrera Cup did not live up to my
original goals. I was able to gain significant experience in one of
France's most exciting championships. The Pierre Martinet by Almeras
team did a very professional job, and it was a real pleasure to
spend this season with them. I would also like to thank all
my sponsors, among whom BRM has counted itself for several seasons
now, as well as my close family. What are your goals
for 2016? Are you taking part in the same championship? On the same
team? A range of factors mean that I am not
participating in the France Cup this year. I would like to change
course in order to have a fresh start. I am currently in talks with
several LMP3 and GT teams. I had the opportunity to test the new
LMP3 car in Barcelona, and it's a real pleasure! You
have been part of the BRM family for several years now. What has it
brought you? I
have been lucky enough to have been part of the BRM family for five
years now, and my impression is more than favourable. BRM can be
found on all the circuits and in all the championships in which I
have taken part. It's simple, in motorsports, everyone knows BRM.
The firm has helped me enormously in terms of my image, and has
allowed me to find new sponsors. I would like to thank Bernard
Richards for his warm and friendly support.
